They say they will send you something for free then when you get the letter they ask you to "sow a seed" to receive God's blessings then the letters keep coming and keep asking to "sow a seed". Any body heard about them? Do you trust them? do you think they have the Spirit of God for real? because all they do is asking for money by telling you to "sow a seed". I remeber the name of one of them: Bob tilto. i 4get the name of the other one

I watch tildon on occasion just for laughs, the show is always exactly the same. He qoutes some story about a woman makeing a meal for a stranger when she thought she didn't have enough food for her own family and god made sure the food didn't run out. He then asks for money. He asks for money over and over and over, he even says, if you don't have it, go into debt to send it. God will repay you.
Back in 1991 ABC news raided the dumpsters outside his offices and found piles and piles of envolpes with prayer requests in them, the money and checks had been removed from the envelopes and the letters thrown away unread.

I am not familiar with them, but I have received some letters asking for "a seed" so often that it made me uncomfortable. Let's be real....there are some rip-off artists out there. They will be dealt with when Christ returns. I don't let them dissuade me from sowing. I sow out of love and obedience to God....not because someone tricked me into it. I let my heart guide me to the right organization to sow to. After that, I don't worry about it.

Ok - I've been a believer and follower of Jesus Christ for 30 years. (born again if you prefer.)
Yes, the Bible reads: "give and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will men give to you."
Meaning: give to others of what you have: time money, gifts, love, patience (ie. to " do to others as you would have them do to you"), and Jesus said, "whatever you do to the least of these my brothers, you do it to me."
So, if you think this pastor is asking for specific money to dig a well in an African village, or open a food kitchen, go ahead and give. But, if it is to only support their 'ministry', they need to rely on God more and stop begging the viewers.
My mom goes to a nice church around the corner from her house. The pastor relies on God for everything. They don't pass an offering plate. They don't ask for money, they just tell people the great news that God loves them and that he sent Jesus to pay for their sins (the wages of sin is death), and they have more than enough given as anonymous gifts, and even workmen who are hired to fix the driveway or lights or even the roof end up just giving of their time. They do not attend this church, they don't know anything about the church, but when they ask the pastor what he preaches and he tells them, it's like God knows they are a little new church, and they are taken care of. I really believe that if you are doing what God wants you to do, He'll provide for you to continue doing it.
Go give your time, money and love to the women's shelter, food pantry, and go read a book to some kids in an orphanage once a week. God will bless you--good measure!

Oral Roberts started that scam in 1947, when he said he got it in a vision from God. He has made millions off of it and now others are carrying on with it too. It is a disgrace to Christianity. I heard Oral Roberts about a year ago talk about it and he claims that God told him people should be tithing and sending their money to him, but when he tithed his money God showed him that we should use our tithe to combat evil and that debt was evil so all the money that people tithed to him, he took a tithe of that and applied it against his mortgages, and paid for his multi millions of dollars real estate. That is an unbelievable admission and in my eyes down right fraud.

Listen, write them a letter and tell them to P_ss off. I am a christian, and i will not abide in anyone trying to extort money from me. Get into a local church. There will be an offering but it is optional.

You are a child of God and do not need any snake oil salesman bothering you.
