Are you telling me you've NEVER seen a below average height guy with light hair and average or even ugly looks, that was in a relationship? I've seen hundreds or thousands in my life...
So, I would assume the above means that MANY women go for guys who aren't tall or dark or handsome...even if those qualities may also appeal to them.
Tall is great...I love tall but I've dated a guy who was about half an inch shorter than me (and I'm just 5'6")...dark can mean tanned or racially dark...handsome is subjective, what one woman may swoon over another may sneer at...
We don't all like the same thing...and isn't that fabulous?

If he is tall dark and handsome AND treated me with the highest respect and returned the love I give to him, I would prefer this tall dark and handsome man.
If he is of average height and light-colored hair AND treated me with the highest respect and returned the love I give to him, I would prefer this average light-colored haired man.
In other words, looks are only skin deep. It's what's in the heart that counts.

all of us has their own opinion. i actually am a tall guy yet I easily have friends that are round 5'6 and they make the finest of it. There are reward to being short alongside with you may date petite women that tall adult men might want to look extraordinary next to. also, short adult men have it a lot less stressful to seem buff considering their muscle tissues are literally not as stretched out as tall adult men. artwork with what you receive, do not ignore that self assurance delivers some inches on all of us. And 'King Tiger' i'm sorry yet from own adventure i can say that your incorrect about that.

Try to relate your question to something women would ask.. "Is it true that guys prefer a woman with large breasts, round butt, and hot body?" Of course it's true, just like the tall and handsome thing is true. However, most women don't go looking for men who are tall and handsome. Instead, we notice the most confident and warm personalities and then hope for looks after that.
In fact, my boyfriend is average height and light-haired, and that's exactly what attracted me to him. Usually, the guys who are perfectly good-looking and hot, don't have the personality to back it up. They think so much of themselves that they can't please women by showering them with attention.
Women are definitely attracted to average guys! as long as you have a warm personality, sexy smile, and decent (not amazing) looks, then you probably have it easier than the hottest guys that you see on soap operas.

Tall dark and handsome is definitley my type, but average height and light hair is fine, it's personality that really scores you points. And besides, pretty much every guy is tall to me, I'm only 5"0 ;-)

Tall - just taller than me, so I can wear high heel shoes without feeling like a giant.
Handsome - I have to like the face I will wake up to in the morning.
Dark - I like really dark hair or blonde hair. But that's just me.
Every girl will like something different. There are girls who love red hair and freckles on a guy. Some like darker skin, some like really really pale skin. Some girls love long hair, others like shaved heads. You just have to find a girl that likes you for who you are.

No. It's the personality that matters. Yes, handsome is a bonus. But otherwise, I don't care how tall the guy is. How tan he is. Whatever! I love the smile, the laugh, and the eyes. <3
Besides, looks are deceiving

if you've got the best personality and you'll do the dishes w/o being asked (and you're maybe not tall and dark but handsome or at least cute) i'm 100% sure you're right up there with those types.

Tall and dark has always caught me, because those guys are attracted to me more than the shorter light-haired guys, they don't have to be handsome, but I demand confidence! :p

I like guys who are a bit geeky so i can mold them into the person i want
But yeah alot of girls like the tall dark and handsome but average and light hair is good too.
As long as there taller than me i don't care
