"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation" (2 Pet 3:3-4).

We must be in the last days...

You do mean when, don't you? Those left will all be just alike, mean, evil hateful without mercy and no justice... Read the scripture Revelation 19 and won't even remember the anguish caused by non believers! On the otherhand there is going to be a whole lot of crying and cursing when we do leave! Revelation 22. The word catching away is found not Rapture...1st Corinthians 15, 1st Thessalonians 5.

Read the Left Behind series by Dr. Tim LaHaye and the excellent Action Movies Omega Code 1 and Omega Code 2..this is the Christian version of a reality, soon to come!

No Stormchaser she said IF the rapture does occurr - will the athiests be surprised.

Yes I think they probably would, but then they will shrug and say "well cant do anything about it now" and carry on with their lives.

IF the antichrist does show up, and the armageddon does occurr - at least they will have some idea of what to expect for the next 7 years.

If rapture takes place, the atheists will go through the tribulations with the antichrist. Then some of them may be gathered to wage a war with the divine creatures. They are defeated or devoured by all the fowls of the air. Some who survive will be subject to Jesus' rule for 1000 years then Satan will come back to influence them then they will all be exterminated by the heavenly fire. All their souls will go to where the beast and antichrist are in hell including Satan.

They will say that they will be happy and in their hearts will mean it too. But when it really happens, it WILL be a sad day of awakening that The Truth was right there in the grasp of their fingertips all the time, but they chose not to believe. "A fool hath said in his heart there is no God." I know this will get several thumbs down but the truth is usually not very popular anyway. And if you hate me, it's okay, they hated Jesus first. PEACE!!!

There are many religions other than Christianity whose participants will be just as amazed as the atheists should Christians rapture but I doubt anyone is losing sleep over it.

I suspect that they will be very sad that those Christians were right and They are wrong

Since the "rapture" won't happen until directly before the final wrath, when the earth is completely destroyed, they won't have time to think about it.

Rapture was added to the bible in the 1800's.

Are you aware of this?

IF there is going to be an end times, we will all be there.
