Dude, don't worry about it. Your tall, so all your food had been going to developing your height. A lot of guys your age are very skinny especially if they are tall. As you get older, you'll start filling out. Guys often don't grow into their bodies until their 20's a lot of times. So, as long as you are healthy, don't worry!
as for your appetite, try to make the most of your small meals by choosing high protein food. Also, make sure you eat something for breakfast. It's very important and will help you develop a healthy appetite. Pick something high in protein like an egg or a protein shake.

I've always tried to gain weight since I was a teenager. I am in my 30's now with 5'9 and 120 lbs. In certain period I tried to gain weight, I used to have lots of proteins shake during breakfast and 3 hours before go to bed and some workout 2 or 3 times a week would help too. This for sure works if you don't feel hungry because you are only drinking, not eating.
If you want to have a little appetite without medicine, try drinking red wine half hour before your meal (wine is good for your heart also). A small glass is enough because you don't want to be drunk =)

I am now 28 years old, 6 foot 1, and weigh 165 lbs. When I enlisted in the military ten years ago, I was the same height and weighed 122 lbs.

How I did it, by eating as much as you can, even when you're not hungry, and working out. I still work out in the gym about three hours a week, then take Creatine, and a protein shake afterwards. It's not easy, bud that's what you need to do. I'm not big, but I am cut nicely. One thing about being skinny is that once you start to work out, you can really see your muscles, and it makes it easier to keep it up when you can see your progress.

Eat foods with a lot of fat and a lot of protein, and a lot of calories. For now you can get away with it, and it will help you gain weight.

well im kinda in the same place as you. Im 20, 6'0" and 140 pounds (and only at christmas). I never put on weight, i eat like a horse and dont particulaly exercise that much, i have always wanted to be a bit bulkier or more muscle but i find even in my job as a builder i never gain much muscle, just tone. I just learnt to live with it, my dad is nearly 50 and skinny as a rake so i figure im always going to be thin. I think your best way to gain an appetite would be exercise, the more you burn the more your body needs. When im working i eat 4-5 meals a day, but when im not 2-3 snacks a day, so exercise always gives me appetite. Hope this helps, your not the only one who is skinny and wants to be bigger.

You should eat much more, like very high carbohydrate foods. Doing some light weights will increase your appetite and I would get a weight gain shake that you can drink 3 times a day. You can buy it at GNC, & Mix it with Chocolate milk to taste good. Also, lots of Peanut butter and Granola with Cashews will help you out.. I guess that by eating small high calories will help you gain an appetite! As you get older you will gain some too

Hi there is a prescription liquid you can take to actually stimulate and increase your appetite...I work with the elderly who frequently have problems with eating...I just cant remember the name of it. Go to your doctor Your BMI is 15.8 which is off the charts of being underweight. You should ...at the very least have a BMI of 18.5 which for you would be at least 145 lbs. try going to a health food store like Wild Oats and get some kind of powder to make into a shake for added calories, use butter, cream there is also a drink called Novasource with high calories. I have small underweight children so I know how to fortify and increase caloric intake. Hope this helps.

Talk to your doctor. Try eating 3 small meals a day.

Speak to your doctor. You are underweight for your height, but you are also young, and if you feel well, and there is nothing wrong with you, don't worry about it. If your weight is static, or rising slowly and if your diet is healthy, you're fine.
