If by "all of sudden" you mean "simultaneously," and if all of them had fully charged batteries and were otherwise in normal operating condition, there is only one thing I'm aware of that will do this -- an EMP (an electro-magnetic pulse). Where were you when this happened?

im 14, just got my 1st phone 4 christmas( the juke, so its music & phone) but i was one of the last people in my school 2 get one. although i don't think kids w/o phones are uncool, when i did not have a cell i felt leftout watching everyone else using theirs, and felt horrible when i always had 2 borrow my friends.(also did not have a ipod so i was always watching people text, calling and listening 2 music on the bus while i just sit there.) ~ im a music luver, i can't live w/o music~

if you keep them near a remote control for a garage door, or something with a security chip like an elevator pass or electronic key. This can also affect your credit cards.
