Nothing canned tastes as good as fresh, but I'm sure it is healthy. I've eaten a lot of it in salmon pies and croquettes.

If canned fish is anything like fresh vs canned/frozen vegetables, then it (canned or frozen) is probably even better for you because the longer the fresh "sits" the more the nutrients tend to leach out. Whereas, frozen or canned is processed quicker and this tends to seal in any nutrients. Does that make sense? Fresh may taste better, but canned or frozen is more nutritious
