I'd like to know why they do that. But only some cats have that reaction to olives. I had one cat, Henry, who went absolutely wild if we gave him a green olive, but I had another cat, Joe, who had absolutely no interest in green olives.

Never tried green olive, but our current cat likes Greek olives. A cat we had a few years ago went absolutely BONKERS over greek olives, he would roll on it, bite into eat and eat a bit, roll and sniff and just "adore" that piece of the floor the smell was on. Was really nuts to watch.

Cats are as individual as people. I had a cat, Nikita, who loved Doritos. He would have killed for corn chip. At the same time I had a cat, named Jim, who loved leaf lettuce, but wouldn't eat the same lettuce in the garden. It had to be in the house and washed. He also ate cantaloupe. He ate nearly half of a cantaloupe off the kitchen counter one night. I knew he did it because he was stuffed!

Most cats only eat cat type food, but there are exceptions.

As much as everyone would like to feed their cat food from the table it is NOT a wise thing to do.

Cats are allergic to so many human foods that it is not even funny. Things you would never think would hurt them.
You can google and look up all the different things that will harm your cat and even kill them.

Where most of the time you can give your dog a lot of table scraps and it does not hurt them.........a cat is a totally different story.

Please check into this before continuing to feed your cat people food.

For our cat, it's Tylex, the bathroom cleaner. After I wipe down the bathroom sink, she will jump up and gnaw on my fingers, rub her head in my palm, trying to get as much of the stuff as possible on her.
