This usually happens when your eye has become too dry, or the lens has slipped out of place. If you have re wetting drops, use those and if all you have is saline or other solution use that. Place two or three drops in the bottom lid after squeezing it into a cup shape. After placing the drops in your eye, close your eye and gently push the area of your eye furthest away from the center towards the center. Open your eye and see if you can see well. If so, your lens is in place and you should be able to remove it with your clean fingers. (Always be sure to wash your hands before handling your contacts.) If you can't see well, repeat the procedure. If after several tries you still cannot remove the lens, you can have someone else see if they can see the contact in your eye, and if you still have no luck contact your eye care professional, family doctor, or visit the emergency room. However if you stay calm and keep trying the steps above, I have no doubt you will be able to get it out.

Put another contact lens in the same eye with the stuck lens and wait 15 minutes or so. When you remove the second lens, the stuck lens will adhere to it and come out, too.

Uh, you are just another person that has convinced me to stay with my glasses. I am so scared of contact lenses becoming stuck. If I were you, I'd cry. Seriously, cry a lot and it might come out. They say tears are a pretty good lubricant so put in a sad movie and let er rip. Good luck to you though.

I assume you have a gas perm. lens. when this happens to me, the only way i can get it out is to as gently as possible hook under the edge with the tip of a fingernail and pry it off of the eye.I have to be extremely careful so I don't scrape the cornea. If you aren't comfortable trying this, try calling your optometrist's office to see if they have someone on call for emergencies. My sister had the same problem and her optometrist came in after office hours to remove the lens. He used a tiny plunger-like tool that suctions the contact off of your eye. My sis bought one to have at home in case it happens again. Hope this helps!

You really do need to go to the opthamologist or an emergency room. The contact lens is covering your cornea, and simply peeling it off may well take off a thin layer of the covering. The process of peeling it off is much easier done by a professional, who can also use drops to anesthetize the eye beforehand. Afterwards you will likely need antibiotic drops and liquid tears to aid the eye in healing. Do not try to simply peel it off yourself. If you haven't been able to float it off with the other things, you need a professional. The eye is too important to mess with damaging permanently.

Ok calm down this happens to me all the time and ive been able to get them out. Just dont sleep with it in then you can get an infection and then its really not fun. Keep trying the solution and the other stuff. Or if you can at least peel a lil of it off take solution and put some right where youve gotten it off a little bit. The solution should help it peel/ slid off nice and easy. If it still dosent come off then got to the hospital. They will be able to help. Just keep trying and you will be fine. Hope this works.

ok,ok,ok.....Look the first thing u want to do is calm down a little bit. Ok now that your all calm call up ur eye doctor first and ask them what they suggest you should do about it. Most likely they'll say go immediatly to the doctor or some other place like that DO WHAT THEY SAY EXACTLY!!!!Then you should pretty much be a-ok.

get your sink full and dive your head into it, open your eyes and roll your eyeball. The lenses will be adjusted. Come out of the water and take out your lenses as you always do.
