i have heard that dubai is to bid for the olympics in 2016. The city is fantastic and they have tons of cash to easily build facilities. They have tons of projects like the world's tallest building, first underwater hotel, 3 giant palm shaped islands, group of islands in the shape of the world and soon to be the worlds largest airport. I certainly hope to visit there one day. What are your thoughts on them hosting olympics, your holiday memories from there or comments on the projects being built there. Comments much appreciated. :)

Yeah, for sure! Dubai is an amazing city as you said and it would be able to invest a lot of money into setting up a great olympics games. It could attract some people to a part of a world that does not have the best reputation. A little good publicity can do the region some good.

Absolutely. Dubai is an international city with the facilities to host such an event. It might actually bring some good publicity to the region.

Why, not? They have every right to bid. It might give me a reason to visit.
