...it seems like I always freeze up, and act unnaturally shy. When I just think of a girl as a friend, I have no problems, and come off charming perfectly, w/o any problems. All my friends have told me to act natural, and to just pretend that the girl I like is just another friend. But in my mind, this is IMPOSSIBLE to do. Thanks for the help.

And I'm not naturally shy anymore...I've turned to be more crazy and stuff. And I have the confidence/arrogance (it's more like arrogance, which the girls love.)

there is nothing wrong with you. just continue living, acting, feeling, playing, talking...as you acquire more life experiences life..will settle by itself. you have to push no one and specially not yourself. to outdo what you are presently doing. hope it helps. usually it does, look at my best answers record. almost 10 p.cent.

This happens to all of us, girls and guys. Don't worry, when the right girl comes along, you will feel perfectly natural around her. Don't worry about all the rest. That nervous feeling can go away if you think of things like we are all alike. We all have to do the same things like burp, etc... We are all just human, we all make mistakes. Just take a deep breath and remind yourself that she is no different than you. If you treat her like a friend then you will be amazed at how fast that feeling will just disappear. You probably won't even notice. Keep in mind that they don't know this unless you tell them. Sometimes that helps too by telling them that you are a little nervous. It will probably draw them closer to you because they want you to feel comfortable around them. What other ways have you overcome your fears in your life? Try using the same technics for this. It's really easy. You just have to make yourself believe this somehow.

Go out and do some crazy stuff that you wouldn't normally do. Having crazy friends helped loosen me up a lot. You'll have to *force* yourself to ask her out, even if you really like her. Just start saying it, and dont stop because you know you'll sound stupid if you do.

Just take in a deep breath and relax. Just be yourself and show her your "charming" personality. You have to realize that she is just a person and is probably just as nervous as you........good luck= )
