Yes, these are all normal symptoms of a panic attack. But since you do not seem to be functioning normally right now, I would see a therapist and/or Doctor who can help you get through this. You may have issues other than the driving test on your mind and you may need to be on medications for a while. Only a professional can say.

Meantime, as far as the driving test sometimes it helps to play the "what if" game. What if you don't pass what will happen? Would the worst not be that you practice some more and retake it? Is that so horrible that it is worth what you are going through now?

Ok, slow down. Take deep breaths. Think of a calm place like a sandy beach or a favorite childhood memory. Try not to "listen to yourself". Focus your mind on something else. Try reading and really try hard to focus on the book. Or music really helps. Find something you like, it can be sad or happy. But sing along. What I am getting at is to keep your mind off of your anxiety. Know that it will be over soon and it will not hurt you. Tell yourself that you are in charge and are not going to let this happen. I get panic attacks also but refuse medication. I can deal with these on my own. But it can get pretty scary when I am alone. Talk to someone if you can and have them put your mind at ease. Another person always makes me feel better. I wish you the best of luck, but if you get them often, I would definitely see a doctor.

This is perfectly normal. as I suffer from the same things quite often. I advise that you keep your mind busy. As they say "An idle mind is the devil's best friend." As for sleeping, count backwards from 1,000 by 3's, it will keep your mind busy, and will help you fall asleep faster.

Yes, these are symptoms. Lay down and do some slow deep breathing with your eyes closed while imagining yourself somewhere relaxing. Think positive thoughts.(this advise only if you have no medical problems)
