I'd like to hook up my computer and my Xbox 360 to the same monitor. I have a flatscreen Samsung Syncmaster 19" LCD. I have a 63" SXRD in my living room, but theres always people watching tv, plus I have to use wireless internet, which is not always very fast. My mom wont let me have my 360 in my room either until I have a 3.5 gpa or better anyway. I have a capture card on my pc, which I want to start recording my Gears of War montages, so it would be perfect. However, I only see one input on the monitor, and I have my pc plugged into it. Is there some kind of splitter with a switch that I can buy, to switch between 360 input and pc input?

i doubt it'd have an s- video on it, or an hdmi, but you might wanna check tigerdirect.com to see if they have one, or best buy. but. one thing you could do, is hook a vcr up to the video capture card with a coaxcail cable.. (just the same thing cable tv goes through) and hook the 360 up to the vcr, and when you wanna play the 360, you can turn on the video capture on the computer, and play through the program, on channel 3 or w.e. it will have to be.. btw.. what's your gamer tag? haha

some video reveal gadgets can elect enter port manually from the front panel. Others could be set with a precedence, so DVI first, then VGA 2nd if DVI is off... (or HDMI vs DVI, and so on...) you should analyze for a particular form that does the two of those...
