South Georgia is growing at a much higher rate than the environment can withstand. Small farms are swallowe dup by large ones which in turn are selling toivesters who in turn are building developments with no concerned for the environment.
Over development is killing us now running land prices out of site and bringing many retires from florida and other storm places and over taxing the systems both governmental and environmental.
Lack of water has hastened the flight of small produce farms and now most produced are from large farms in california or mexico . These are raised for profit, not taste or nutreints and we all suffer due to their poor their quality. Most peope who live here now under age 25 have actually never tasted a decent tomato for example.
Health here as everywhere is skyrocketing due to poor food values, over use of pesticides and doctors and hospitals making out like bandits unchecked.
Fish is poorer than anytime in history in this area both in the sea, and fresh water. Most creeks are gone or dryed up or non-exsting. most ponds are dieing for lack of water.
