Just as English speaking Canada uses the New Revised Standard Version on the Bible and the US uses The New American Version, I was wondering what they use in Quebec. I am going to assume it some version of La Bible de Jerusalem. Any particular edition though? I am studying French so I would like to have a catholic bible to study from. Thanks!

I think there's no official version that's used in all French-speaking Catholic churches: "En revanche, on peut souhaiter l'emploi, dans les pays francophones et à tout le moins en France, d'une seule et même version française de la Bible pour la liturgie..." As you suggest, however, the most commonly used is probably La Bible de Jérusalem. I believe that the latest edition is from 1998. You can buy it or read it for free online (http://www.biblia-cerf.com/bj.php ).

I'd guess Douay, but that is a guess and someone who actually knows might answer this.
