Hi Gemma.
I was married last year and we used a lady in Scotland who makes them in your image. You tell her what you want to wear and how you look (send photos etc) she even added my dog to it!!
She will add a uniform if you like. My hubby is an TA officer, and so we sent photos of him in his mess kit which she replicated really easily! He didnt wear that for the wedding by the way!
The topper wasn't even that expensive - £30!!! We transported it to Cyprus for the wedding and it remained intact! It came back and is now on the bookshelf as a bit of a fun ornament!
It was a real talking point and the lady sent me some great quality photos which we for the wedding invites!
The company is www.caketops.co.uk If you look on the site there are loads of images, ours is in the careers section, page 1 image cr17.

I even have seen interacial cake toppers at weddings i've got been to. They weren't individual so i'm assuming they have been waiting to discover them. call around to diverse bakeries or cake shops and notice in the event that they have any concept. there is quite often a great form to %. from, i don't see why they does not be waiting to discover you one. If that doesn't paintings, you will discover issues like toppers that are rings or something of that type. in case you have an stylish cake, you do not even choose a topper. i've got been to quite a few weddings with such beautiful truffles that a topper wasn't even mandatory.

I really hated all of the figurine cake toppers so I had our baker do our initials in silver out of sugar paste. I'm pasting the link to the cake person with the same letters that we did (my cake is in there somewhere, but I was too lazy to find it!). Good luck!

I went to a sugarcraft/cake shop and bought a sugared flower corsage type cake topper - it was like a mini bouquet - It cost about £12, and there were lots of different colours and flower types that you could choose from so no worries with regard to matching you colour scheme! Yell.com will list your nearest cake/sugarcraft supply shops.

I had a floral arrangement as a topper for my cake which incorporated the flowers used in my bouquet. However, to represent myself and my husband I purchased the Ty Wedding Bears named His and Her.

My friend had Dolly Mixtures attached to thin almost invisible wires that protruded from the top of the cake. Sounds a bit naff but it looked brilliant!
She also had dolly mixtures around the base of each layer of the cake too - she has a sweet tooth :o)

Try looking on www.Confetti.co.uk
It's a really good online wedding / celebration shop that also has stores in a couple of the big cities.
I am using it at the moment to try and plan my own wedding! If they don't have what you are looking for then they have a directory of other sites and suppliers which may help!
Good Luck for the future!

You can look online, or at a bakery....most bakeries have toppers you can buy along with the cake.
