here's the thing.. the blowdrying every day is what makes this process so bad... if your not going anywhere let your hair air dry... also putting alot of product in your hair everyday is bad. if you have to blowdry your hair everyday make sure you treat it often for split ends put the moisture back in. if you have long hair try putting it in a braid for the day instead of blowdrying... when you wash your hair the shampoo is best if only applied to the roots and slightly down thats where it gets "dirtiest" when the water runs through it cleans the rest of the hair without working it into that part. When you apply your conditioner put it mainly from middle to ends if you apply it to the roots it tends to make the hair greasy. and remember if a shampoo starts with a P its Probably not good for your hair although there are some execptions.

I quit going to the hairdresser, and having my poor scalp rubbed like they were trying to wash the head of a chimney sweep. And I stopped all that washing and blowdrying every day. Five years later, I have long stopped getting a combful of hair every time I comb it. My hair ends are no longer splitting, and my whole head of hair has significantly thickened. I very lightly dampen my hair once a week and use a small amount of shampoo which I just jiggle through the hair for thirty seconds. Rinse, and then lightly massage in a little "conditioner and shiner" (lots of these products available). I roll it up slightly damp, and then let it dry by itself before unrolling and arranging my style.
I have the best head of hair I've had in years, and I save a bundle on those doggone Beauty Shop "Do's"

Well its not good thats for sure. You arent supposed to wash your hair everyday because it dries out your hair, and if you go a day withouth washing, your hair will appear greasy.
If you use healthy (yes expensive) shampoo and conditioner to meet your natural or dyed hair expectations and shampoo every other day your hair will be able to stay moist longer and will less likely to break away and cause split ends.
Using a pik to comb out your wet hair is the best because brissles on a brush or comb usually tear more hair away.
Even though you dont wash your hair everyday you can still shower just put your hair up or put a shower cap on.
Oh yeah and blow drying isnt that bad as long as you buy that spray that protects your hair from the heat, and dont wash your hair every day.

Washing your hair everyday definitely is not a good idea, neither is blow drying. You strip your hair of its natural oils, you make it really dry and damage it. You could get a lot of split ends that way too. Even if you use heat protection, you should try to limit both to about twice or maybe three times a week.

It gets pretty bad after a while. I do the same thing everyday except I flat iron as well. I just went and got my hair cut at the lady there told me that it was damaging my hair. I asked her what I could do about it but she said that all I could do was stop blow drying and so forth....Nothing can really stop it from happening....
But yes it does damage your hair a lot...

i like to take heed to somebody conserving their hair from warmth. each and every each and every now and then shampoo would reason severe harm over the years, like Pantiene and stuff. in case you're applying professional products, and saturate your hair with ones too in the previous you blowdry, and don't flat iron your hair, and don't use field colour, then you definitely could be swimming in chlorinated swimming pools. in the experience that your conditioner is professional (meaning offered in a salon), you need to use it the different day. too a lot will crap out your hair. you may positioned on and positioned a tub cap over your head and word warmth to it for like 5 min. The bathe cap will capture the moisture in and the warmth will tension it into the cuticle, i could do it like this purely as quickly as a week nonetheless, and enable it settle down, rinse with chilly water to seal it up. i does not depart it on longer than the training say.

Yes I think that would be quite drying to the hair, the natural oils never get a chance to settle into your hair.

Doing that much everyday will dry out and damage your hair way before your next cut. Every other day is better.

I don't believe it is harmful at all. Washing your hair doesn't hurt and conditioning only helps....and as far as I know, blow drying doesn't harm your hair either. Since you condition, that overrides any small damage that your hair may take, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

It is fine if you use good products, and especially some kind of gel or heat styling spray before blowdry.
