My daughter wants to learn French using the Rosetta Stone..does it really work as well as they claim? It seems a little pricey but is worth it to me if it works.

The company that produces these language tools just use the name "Rosetta Stone" for the company name. Not the actual Rosetta Stone.

I've heard good things about this, and like previously stated, the US Government uses it.

I'd say give it a shot.

Ok, this is odd, do you mean the same Rosetta Stone that helped figure out the egyptian hieroglyphs? It has greek and latin I thought.......but then again I'm stupid so what do I know.

The US Army uses it to teach language. Worth the investment.

I think there are many more languages courses avaiable. But if you asked me why purchase something so expensive? there is plenty of free language stuff avaiable on the internet. And all it needs is a sign up name. That's it.
