Hold it off as long as possible, because once you start it is a lifelong thing and it gets a bit tiresome by the time your 30. Anyways when I was young loved having a little moustache, it made me look older and girls loved it. Good luck.

If you need to shave then shave. You're going to have to shave every day anyway so if the hair is already there just start now. 2 or 3 years won't matter.

It is basically your choice. Most guys start shaving around that age but you could wait a few years. Shaving does speed up hair growth and thickness so waiting a few years would really help in years to come. But if you are sick of the hair...shave it off.

Your parents are right. Once you shave you will be shaving from here on out (unless you chose to let it grow out). It's really up to you (if your parents don't mind), but just remember---if you're not ready to put up all that extra time in the mornings or before going out, you better wait a bit longer.

Sure, my 14 year old brother shaves his face.
Don't worry about the hair growing back faster - that is an old wives tale.

Shave if you want to. I don't see why not. Shaving DOES NOT make hair grow back faster or thicker... it's just the angle the razor cuts hair at makes it more blunt so it appears thicker.
