Do not try to use the camera for several days.....Keep it in the house for several day to let the moisture dry out. Do it have a tape in it. If it does, let the camera dry out and then try eject...Put a new tape in and try ONLY after camera has dried out.
Yes, you should be ablt to have it repaired after you have tried all the above....Send th camer a the factory for service.

Let it dry out before using it. Putting the camera in a bag with silica gel helps, but only if you get a lot. If it doesnt work after that, then depending on how expensive your camera was, you can get it fixed or get a new one. Hope this helps!

You can try to let it dry out first, but what I recommend you do is to put it in a sealed airtight plastic bag and put it in the freezer ASAP. Call a repair shop, preferably one licensed to repair your model of camcorder. Also, you can e-mail technical support on their website and request to get it repaired. You'd have to ship it out if the repair depot is too far away from you, and they will charge you with a fee for service if the camcorder's warranty is expired.
Good luck, and I hope you can get your camcorder repaired!

Remove the battery...leave battery tray open..lens cap off and let everything dry out for 24hrs. Recharge the battery and try operating the unit. This should work.

I take it you powered it up before letting it dry out. Sounds like it's fried.
