There are several breeds that have blue as a standard color of the breed. Chihuahuas, my breed, included. My dogs have produced several blues. Don't let someone tell you how rare a blue is and ask 2 times as much money because of it. Blues are sometimes prone to alopecia which causes severe hair loss in dogs. The color is actually gray, but it is called blue.

I have a dog who is cosidered blue. She is a neopaliton mastiff. Most dogs with a blue gene in them were used for guarding. Because you can't see them in the dark. The neo mastiff would wait for the right moment and attack any trupassers.

The term "blue" used when referring to a dog usually means a light grey color and isn't very common. I'll bet it is a beautiful dog.

I saw a litter of dobermans once with a blue and a lighter-than-fawn color, very dilute, very
lovely. Blue is a dilute form of black in dogs, I think.

no. and i don't think that they are real either. have u seen the puppy? Or did she just tell u? If she just told u she is probably lying. It is impossible for a blue dog. unless u die its hair blue.

i have seen one with a blue toung not a blue dog though...
