Why do the whiteys drink beer?

Ignoring the racist tone of your question, beer has had a long and glorious tradition that started in Europe, although I understand the ancient Egyptians actually produced the first beer. The Germans, English and Irish improved on beer, using different hops, grains and brewing methods, giving us the wide variety of ales, lagers, stouts and pilsners that we enjoy today.
Beer can be as sophisticated as wine, although beer doesn't improve with aging after a certain point as does wine.
With all alcoholic beverages, there is no particular "advantage" of one over the other unless you're just looking to get drunk, in which case you could just drink Everclear and be done with it.
An individuals taste and how refined that taste is are all that matters.

Im white and i love beer! I used to drink shnapps but now its totally beer. I also used to drink vodka but i didnt do well with that. The whiteys drink all kinds of alcohol! Its not just beer. Why do you care anyway?

Vodka originated in Russia, u need grain and hops to make beer and they only had potatoes, sooo they distilled vodka, tequila originated in Mexico, land of my ancestors, and we drink plenty of beer. Shnapps is German where beer is king. Why do the whiteys drink beer sound kinda racist. Are u a malt liquor kinda guy?

Kinda racist tone to the question, but let's ignore that.
Nearly every country/culture which has great spirits, also does great beers (eg, Germany - schnapps/beer, Mexico - tequila/beer).
Anyway, you've overlooked all the great wines of the world. Alcoholic strength between beer and spirits, buckets of class/flavour/mouthfeel/versatility.

I am a whitey and I love beer. It is a good thing to sit around with some buddies and drink beer (or better yet chug it). Also, drinking games or beer bongs are fun.

ok i agree with the others that this Q is a little racist but im gonna answer it anyway. ok white people are not the only ones who drink beer people of all cultures and colors drink it. i think it just has to do with what persons environment is. yes alot of white people drink beer it tastes good. we can sit on a tailgate and drink it or go to a bar and drink it. you can buy it in almost any store. its easy to drink in that you dont have to worry about having a special glass or mixers just crack open the can or bottle and enjoy.

Beer is probably one of the oldest alcohol drinks around...Some beers are as good as hi end boozes and wines....to a beer connoisseur.
Im talking good imports or Micro-Brews, not the Bud or Miller mass produced swill

I don't know where you come from, but here in the south, Blacks drink beer just like us whiteys. I think they call it, taste, which apparently you have none of.

Beer is good too -- you make it sound like you can't be a beer snob. Many people taste good, expensive beers just like wine. Maybe your question should be why they like bad beer, in which case the answer is cuz it's cheap.
