No, it is not ethically right for a fourteen year old to go out with a sixteen year old.

It's not. Because a sixteen year old (in the UK, and, since I'm seeing this on uk.answers.yahoo.com...) is of legal age for sex, whereas a fourteen year old is not. Ethics are socially rooted in law, which are ethics written down and enshrined and enforced. Therefore it is NOT ethical. If a fifty year old man even -kisses- a fourteen year old girl, he is in BIG trouble. Legally speaking, there is no difference between a fifty year old and a sixteen year old - not where acts which could be seen as "indecent" are concerned.
Speaking from an entirely non-legal sense, there's no real problem with it - two years isn't alot, even though it is at the same time. If the age difference is a problem, it won't be for long, let's put it that way - you'd split up or not have gotten together in the first place.
But ethically?

If it gets silent and he doesn't make a move, he's looking for something even more. If you keep giving him these silences he'll get deeper intimate and if your not responsible, it can be dangerous. In a teenaged tall, 16 year old boy... Sex or something dominating. It's not wrong but if your not responbile, you will be looked at as wrong by letting him get to you. If you want some advice, I'd insist in teaching him or telling him wrong & rights. Block off the his chances of going big with you. That will show him that oral is all.

I don't see a problem with it seeing as there is only a 2 yr difference. But since we are talking about teenagers a 2 yr difference is kind of big when it comes to experience. So make sure that no one takes advantage of the other.

I think it would be fine, cause its only two years and both 14 yr olds and 16 yr olds are immature, so I think they would go good together. You are both young and not wise so it dont matter anyway

Ummm...I don't think it is wrong. There is only a two year difference. So what is the big deal. I would rather go out with an older guy.

Why not? It's illegal to have sex, but it's only a 2 year age gap, so no problem there.

I don't know how many times i've said this to people....AGE DOSEN'T MATTER!!!
As long as you both love eachother and there is no sex until you are of legal age...then it's fine!!!
