If you have hurt it in the past 48 hours do NOT use heat. It will only increase the swelling response and cause pain. Use ice instead. If it's been more than 48 hours you can go back and forth with heat and ice. But do not use heat alone.

Lay down as much as possible with the ice so that the muscles can truly relax and aren't working hard to hold up your head. Take allieve as directed on the bottle. If allieve isn't available then try motrin, advil, etc (Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory and will help with inflammation) Tylenol isn't an anti inflammatory so it can't help with inflammation.

If your having trouble relaxing due to pain you can take some benadryl to help you relax and rest.

If the pain persists seek urgent care treatment. There are many medications they can give you such as flexerol which will help relieve the stiff muscles.

You may also want to drink some chamomille tea to help you relax which will help loosen the muscle.

Are you sure it is a pulled muscle? Do you have any other things going on? Sometimes a stiff neck can be a sign of something more serious. Talk to your parents before taking anything.

Try a heating pad.
Also, eat some food & then take some aspirin or motrin. This should also help.
Oh; if you have no heating pad, soak in a very warm tub, like a bath...but get your neck as submerged as possible. The heat will relax your neck muscles.
