I just do jeans and a t-shirt. If It's more formal, i'll go with an unbuttoned dress shirt, and a pair of casual dress shoes.
Less is more.

So wear jeans a shirt!

Jeans with a bottom down shirt, untucked - as long as that is appropriate for where you are going.

Be yourself, dress how you normally would dress, if she has a problem with that, she's not worth your time anyway!

If it's a date to a formal place then you'll have to dress up, but if it's dinner and movie etc you don't have to get too fancy.

I find a nice coat, khakis (or nice expensive jeans), sweater or fitted t-shirt always look good. Nice leather shoes not sneakers are a must. You want to look like you're wearing nicer than everyday clothes, but you don't want to look like you're not trying at all. Throw on some cologne (not too much), and you'll be good to go.

A new pair of jeans, a polo shirt or a button down shirt, dont tuck it in. And a nice pair of casual Steve Madden shoes. Get a nice fresh trim and shave though. Heres an example. its not dressy but it shows that you care to give some effort. I would be pleased if my date wore this. Dammn its not the prom.

As a woman I truly appreciate knowing who the man is I am dating. My husband was just himself, and by doing so he showed me who he was and I was able to ascertain whether or not he and I would be a good match.

Had he pretended to be something he wasn't, we both would have wound up wasting a lot of valuable time. Eventually who he really was would have come out, and if it were far, or even a not so far, misrepresentation of his real "self", I would have stopped dating him. It is important for each of us to find compatible people to spend time with, to become close to, friends with, and eventually romatically involved with. Contrary to the opinion of some, while opposites may attract, they do not make good long term partners.

In this day and age, it gets really tiresome to have to wade through the masks people put up to find the real person behind them. It is just so much easier to be myself, and hope the person I am spending time with is just being himself, than to be dissapointed down the line, and not only feel that dissapointment, but to have wasted all that time as well, time we could have been focusing on somebody who IS compatable.

Just be yourself and you will do just fine. Take a shower, put on clean clothing that are neat, and which you feel comfortable in. If you do not feel comfortable, how could you have a good time? I wish you the best on your date and much success in your romantic endevours. ;-)

Then wear a nice shirt and good fitting jeans unless you are going someplace really nice. Better to be you.

Wear a button up shirt or a sweater with your jeans. No tennis shoes either. You need to have black shoes and a black belt. Karate Chop!
