Well im following a guide from bodybreak, the cd I got when I bought my bench I put my feet 90degrees on the bench and arms at my side and so on, im not sure if this is because of the exercise I did before though, I did some sort of bike ab workout where the legs move like your riding a bike and you try to touch them with you elbows, am I having this problem because my abs are tired or am I doing somthing wrong, I can feel my abs slightly working if I hold it for around 7 seconds but thats it.

abdominal training should always be slow and controlled. you basically want to keep your abs flexed as tight as possible when doing each rep and exhale in the fully contracted position...

they work, just do more until you can feel it....also try doing an excersize where you do crunches with scissor kick (legs side to side max of 1 foot off the ground) or leg lift holds....where you lift you legs nad hold them 6 inches off the ground for 1-1.5 minutes...then do scossor kicks and flutter kicks in that posittion for about 1 minute each
