I think i got a virus by downloading a video or pic of limewire. Limewire wont open unless i change the share folder. So somethings messed up on my external harddrive on a the share folder. Everytime i try to open it it frezzes and a message pops up. I tried to delete it and it starts to delete and the message still pops up. But it only deletes on safe mode, it shows that it's deleting(the little folder is flying on the screen) But it doesnt show progress on the bar.

The files in the shared folder are just that..they are shared. Try this though:
Select all of the files by pressing the 'Ctrl' and the 'A' keys together. Then right click with the mouse and select 'Stop Sharing'.
Then try deleting the files. Then go back up one level and delete the folder icon. Since it is empty, it should be able to be deleted.

I hate to tell you, but you need to delete Limewire! QUICK! Limewire is really getting a bunch of viruses and worms. then go to trendmicro and get the free scan and virus. I just had the same tyhing happen and looked on here and found out what to do. I think mine came up with almost 3,000 infections from limewire. AHHHH!!!!!

You need to get an anti-virus and anti-spyware to remove the virus/spyware first before you can do anything with the folder. Better yet , uninstall Limewire, it's a doorway to all kind of nasty software. If you still want to use it make sure you only enable sharing only on one specific folder and not the rest of your hard drive or pc. The free anti-virus i recommend is http://www.free-av.com

If right clicking on the folder and selecting delete doesn't work. Try going to the start button, and go to where the folder is located and try deleting it from there. If it is a program, try removing the program from your list of programs.
