first ouch!
some people on here can be so mean!.
you ask a perfectly good question and you get abuse report the lot of em!.
now as for your Q. Obviously you do have a heart other wise you wouldn't of asked and you wouldn't have waited after all my advice would be to ask your wife if she would take them back and get her self something to remember her mum by!.
their are lots of reasons why this is the best cause of action!
1.To show that you didn't begrudge spending the money in the first place just you don't want it to go to waste!.
2. Because your not spending it on your self and your giving a thought to your wife so that the money can try to put a smile on her face!.
3. If you don't like the sound of these options and spending the money on you self doesn't seem right do a Nobel thing and give it to a deserving charity!.

Hope this helps
Gilly.

I hope you have the receipts. No it's not too late. I don't think anyone would think it was wrong.

Sorry for you and your wife's loss.

Kinda tacky question...but as long as you have the receipts than you are fine! However, if you do not have them then they may give you the sale price and put it on the gift card!!

How does your wife feel about it if she's okay with it go for it. If not your stuck with it. It' s kind of harsh of you to think about that so soon after her death. Sorry for your loss. Deepest sympathy to your wife.
