Yes, by accident - the staple gun slipped. As long as you're up on your tetanus shots (get one very five years), staple injuries are relatively minor puncture wounds, so it's nothing to worry too much about. Just wash the area and keep it clean. It won't hurt to use antibiotics and a band-aid. That's what I did.

Yep! It wasn't planned I was stapling some papers, and talking to one of my colleagues at the same time. Not paying attention I stapled my thumb!! My colleague had to remove it, because I nearly passed out - not pleasant and very sore for days.

Still haven't worked out how I did it, but haven't done it since, and have no intention of doing it again!

No .
But once i came away from the counter at a chemist with a prescription bag, and they had stapled it and try ed to open to check the prescription was right, and it went right into my finger.
Boy was i mad at the chemist for putting a staple in the bag in the first place and i told them so.

Of course! Anyone who does paper work of any kind, usually manages to to it at some time. In my case I was putting a staple in a padded envelope to ensure that it stayed fastened, I was distracted and stapled my finger to the padded envelope. It was un-believably pain-full, and so much blood everywhere!

I as an apprentice was stapled regularly by the tradesman i worked with, industrial strength too !! For stapling cables to walls. He used to think it was funny stapling my overalls to my body.

The outcome like ( : ) that red dots that looked liked snake bite marks on my skin and they used to bruise also.

I am mentally "staple" though even after all the abuse boom boom

Actually, I did once, accidentally. I just took the staple out and put a bandaid over it and it was okay after that.

Yes, in my middle finger. I was in 3rd grade and I had a little mini stapler. I wanted to know if staples can go through finger nails. They can...and it hurts like a sonofab*tch.
