If a guy that you normally don't talk to, sends you a text. Do you always respond? If you don't respond to all texts in general, what is the main reason?

I always respond (just a polite thing to do) unless I'm mad with the guy for some reason or he is being rude or if there's nothing much to reply to. Also if the text message is a broadcast, not specifically for me, then I may not respond. But yes in general in most circumstances I would always respond back to a text message from a guy.

Not always, depends if you fancy the guy enough or not. If I don't respond to all texts in general, it means I'm just not that into you and you ain't worth the time it takes to write a text message, soz mate. Don't waste your time on this girl. If she wants you, you'll know for real. Although I'm going thru something at the min with a guy....you can tell by my questions hehe!. Although it seems obvious to everyone else, it's not that obvious to you, but I know you need validation. Listen, you already have the answer because you know the whole story ie the content of the text messages etc, us answerers don't know dat, so she could fine well be into you, everyone's different. Unless the guy has been acting really weird around me and gives me the creeps..I say yes. Why wouldn't I respond. it really depends on the text message though...What should I respond to? What is being asked. That is the question that needs answering. Other than that, I wouldn't think much of responding to text messages from a guy I know exists. I would not respond to anonymous texts though.

Well I'll respond to most texts. Sometimes I don't check my phone for hours on end, so if it was from the morning and I really have nothing good to say in response by the evening i'll just leave it, but if it's from someone i hardly hear from i'd always reply like say something like "sorry, didn't check my phone till now, what's up" etc. I never want to seem rude if the person is just being friendly. If you're trying to play hard to get then ignore a few but be careful cuz he might just stop texting you period.

good grief, you could spend you whole day just answering im, I have a lot better thing to do than sit at a key board and text messaging. I would not even own a call for that reason alone. as well as it ringing at the most improper times, The world needs a bit of peace and quiet

It depends on what type of simple text you left. Most ladies will be kind enough to respond to all texts out of respect unless your a pain in the azz and pushy

You only respond when you want to!!! The main reason I do not respond is because I'm busy at the time!!

No not always some don't require answers and who has the time to keep pressing all those damn buttons! I think text is mainly for guys, so they don 't get drawn into details conversation with their mates, they just type what they want to know and wait for the quick response.

If a guy i don't like talking to texts me i only reply if he really needs an answer, like: Where is the fire extinguisher? then i will answer... but if he gets all weird on me like asking if i could see the two of us together then i usually ignor them... I don't respond because i am usually enjoying life to much to stop for lame texts! :) good luck bud girls are tough!

well, my parents don't let me text because it costs extra money...that's how it is with a lot of us. texting doesn't always come with our cell plan and our parents don't wanna pay extra. there's always a chance that we didn't even get the message, cuz cell phones get messed up sometimes or our phone could be off...or maybe we can't even get text messages on our phone...dude, don't worry about it...talk to her online or in person. good luck xox
