Hey people.
I really need your help. Back in middle december, I was chatting to this girl iv known for a few months. She asked me if I was interested in going out sometime. I said yea that would be nice and she gave me her number. We then meet up and went on a date. It was great fun, we where chatting together, she wouldnt let me buy her a drink until abit later and at the end she kissed me on the cheek.
I then went away for a few weeks for the christmas hols and we where texting each other. On new years eve, I foned her up at midnight to wish her a happy new year and we had a quick chat. I then later sent her a message saying that I wanted to make love to her(after a few drinks). Next morning I thought that was a bad move and then without thinking I said to her that I sent the message to the wrong person. She didnt sound too happy when I said that I sent it to the wrong person. I didnt think and its like im trying to dig myself out of a hole.
Please any suggestions would be nice

Well we went out for my birthday with some friends and got completely drunk in November.She made sure that I got back to my flat safely. She is a lovely girl and I feel like a mug.
If I just told her the truth and said that the text message WAS for her, how many she react?

dude youve turned an easy situation into a tricky one, i hope this doesnt scare her off. If you think she knows it was meant for her then tell her it was, just be cool when you do it, and dont do it in person because youll be too nervous.
You could wait it out and see what happens she might come on a bit stronger if she thinks theres competition.

thats so funny! you have to listen to me :-) When ur drunk do you lie or tell the truth? Are u lying that you wanted to sleep with her? For me I try my hardest NEVER EVER to get drunk...its so hard because when u do go out with friends its so nice to relax, socialize and have a drink but if you end up making an *** of yourself at the end of the night thats another story. Get me drunk and I will tell you details of my most intimate moments, really its a scary thing. I'm way to honest for my own good. Dont drink if you cant handle the outcome

Well I think you sound very young, for a start if you were trying to impress someone why would you get drunk on a night out and she had to get you back home. Also to text that to anyone is being very cheeky when you are not really close to them. You must change your ways if you want to find a nice girlfriend, girls like to be treat nicely and to be treat with respect, getting drunk is not the way to do it.

pillock! you should have said. "hey i must of had a few to drink and i sent you a funny text, sorry about that", but you could add "i hope it didn't offend you", after waiting for a reply it may have given away some of her true feelings and you may then be able to interpret the situation, it may be that she wants you to make the first move in the physical sense . be honest with her and tell her it was really for her and see how it goes. good luck

well first you should be honest with her... just let her know you were a few drinks in when you text her that... when she asked you about it you were to embarrassed to admit it to her so made up the first thing that came to your mind... you never meant to upset her, admit the message was for her and hopefully she will believe you... if you want a relationship with this girl you have to be honest with her and you can let her know that too. u sily billy, i u didnt tell her what teh text was u sent her maybe u could say u thought u sent a differnet text to her, and the making love was the one was for her, just say u like her loads and dont make too much out of it, dont make it bigger thnit actually is hunny cos that will embarrass her

just tell her the truth - she may even find it funny after a while - tell her why u said u sent it to the wrong person - i would be suprised if she didnt understand where u were at

Honesty is the best way out of a hole. If you keep lying then you will dig yourself in a bigger hole. Tell her the truth and apologize for being wrong.
