I'm not over weight at all, i'm 5'3" 124, and i work out at least 3 days a week, I do weights and cardio i'm very close to my goals but i have stubborn fat in a few places. I've tried and tired to get rid of it and was wondering what's a good fat burner (or anything to do at all) to get rid of it. I don't want to lose alot of weight like i've read all the other supplements do. I just want the little bit of fat off of my problem areas. Like I said I just want something to get rid of a few pounds? Help please?!

I meant to add I do count my calories, lateley the past few weeks, i've kept my calories down to 1500 to lose the fat, but i've only lost a few pounds not the fat i want to lose, i keep a notebook of it and I only drink water diet tea, milk and sometimes juice. I haven't had soda for like 3 years

You are not overweight. The deposits of fat in certain areas are determined by genetics...there is nothing you can really do about it. Working out and lifting weights will add to your over-all body weight. The best judge is what others think, not yourself or your scale.
Fat burning supplements are a waste of money. The best way to lose fat is to decrease caloric intake and increase calorie burning. You can increase calorie burning by increasing metabolism. Items that increase metabolism are stimulants like caffeine and some over the counter cold remedies.

I guess your diet is the culprit. Just exercise wont help. You need to count your calories too. Keep a journal of your calorie intake.

Reduce the total calories consumed in day. Figure out your AMR (Active metabolic rate). You can google the formula for this. This will tell you your total calorie requirement. To reduce weight you need to create a deficit in calories either by exercising or dieting.

If your AMR is 2000. creating a deficit of 500 . Your daily intake should be 1500. it takes 3500 calories to lose a pound. At this rate you will reduce one pound every week. (500 calories * 7 days = 3500 calories or 1 lb )

USDA recommends 18% protein, 29% fat, 53% carbohydrates to be distributed among the total calorie intake.

Drink eight 8 ounces glass of water everyday.

There is nothing like spot fat reduction. Fat is burnt from all parts of the body, first from the face though. For males , tummy is the first place where it gets accumulated and the last place to leave. For females, it is butt and waist.

Also look for http://www.weightlossforall.com , it says if you do aerobic exercises at 60-70% of your max heart rate you burn 80% of fat and the remaining is carbs. I have read this at other places too.

Have 4/5 smaller meals a day. Dont have in between snacks. This will keep your metabolism high and you will burn more calories. Lifting weights are also good. More the muscles , higher the metabolism. You will be burning calories with this even while sleeping.

Keep going , dont give up. some get it sooner , some get it late. but everybody gets it.

I'm around the same size....well, heightwise! I do pilates to help with posture,spine alignment and breathing. I choose to burn calories with cardio dance,ballroom dance and strength training. Not sure if you're a dancer,but its a fun way to let loose and work up a sweat! The pilates comes in handy with that,too!

People who plan their weekly meals will be more successful at losing weight than people that don’t.
