KJ had a good one. The best proof is from Jesus of Nazerath. It happened, was documented, attested from non-biblical sources, and people of the day were willing to die for the belief that He rose from the dead, when it would have been ludicrous to die horrible deaths for what they knew was a hoax; unlike people who do mass suicides as cult groups who in fact think it's true. The Sanhedrin never produced a body which would have crushed the movement based on the fact that He rose from the dead. Anti-Christian Jewish literature of the day would have loved to discredit Jesus and His claim to divinity. However, while the call Him all sorts of bad things, they never deny His miracles or His ressurection. So that's an argument from an opponent that makes a strong argument for the historical truth. Also, the biblical story mentions "women" first discovering the body. In that day they would have had no motive to list women as the discoverers of such a great truth, as the testimony of women meant very little in that day, and especially in a patriarchial Jewish culture. So it's not likely that they would have fabricated a story based on the testimony of women if they really wanted it to be believed. It's likely that it mentions women as discovering the empty tomb because that's the way it actually happened and the witnessing community would have called the writers on it if they wrote it down otherwise. There are many more types of proofs along historical lines.

God is a phenomena that was used in mid-eval times to over power pesant workers. in mid-eval Religious oppressions throughout Europe, God was used as a ticket out of hell and heaven. People were force to purchase tickets look at the early reformator Martin Luther who opposed that Pope 's tickets purchasing.
God is a mystery in my eyes. Surel, I believe in something that I rather call higher power, or spirit or mother earth. But God in general is even a myth to me. Nevertheless, it's up on the beholder who holds these believes to be true and self-effident that his existence excists. But still like I say it's debattable.
Why he doesn't show himself, well read stuff about Nicodemous or Notramus two philosopher's who predict the future. Hope this helps! I know I will get thumbs down again. The heck with self righteous Christians. I have my own beliefs and my own spiritual beings. Happy New Year to you all!

God's overt presence is in everything visible and invisible.
God's creation reveals two things about Him
His eternal power
The revelation of Him as the Godhead
No man is able to stand before God and say that he turned away from God because God did not give any light. All men have had the revelation of God, therefore, all men are accountable to Him.
In order to express His nature (holiness, truth and justice) God must punish sin. Since sin personally offends God, no one should be surprised that sin makes God angry. God's wrath is revealed both in nature and in the Scriptures. The argument from cause and effect is one logical argument for the existence of God. As everything that exists must have an adequate cause, so an all-powerful and intelligent God is an adequate cause to explain the universe. The Scripture identifies that "cause" as the creative power of God.
Romans 1:20
"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and Godhead;
so that they(you) are without excuse."
God says you are without excuse when it comes to His existence.

I'll tell you why, it's because there is no proof whatsoever that God exists or doesn't exist. If you can't see Him and there is no evidence that his invisible presence is having any influence than how can you be sure that there is a God and to all the atheists, how do you know there is no God?

The face of a baby seeing his parents, the sun rise on a clear morning, the spread of stars accross the sky, a tiny seed growing into a gigantic sunflower. All of these are the presence of God. You may say it is uncool or corney. I don't care. I do not justify myself to anyone.

Because He is God. He is the All-Powerful, All-knowing, He has of course given evidence of his existence through his creations and backed it up by his religious books. He does not do injustice to his servants. He reveals to them what they need not what they want. And you must really sit with yourself and think of who God is, and how can YOU, His creation, question Him, as to how He runs things.

sure he does
look how tiny objects eat and live despite their weakness and you know he does
look how accurate universe is and you know he does
look how your body act and you know he does
look and look and look
man (if you are a man not a woman), there is no rain without clouds
there is no smoke without a fire
and there is a creation without creator
if you say "clouds and fire are being seen, but your God is not. Mentally, how can you believe him ?!!"
I can say, "Do you see your mind ? how can you believe it ?!!"
I ask Allah (my god) to show you the right way
if you have Qu'ran ( Muslim's holly book ), try to read it
