There is no time of year in which it is safer or more dangerous to fly. Technological advances have made it safe to fly in most kinds of weather (or warn airports of unsafe weather conditions). Planes are full just about year-round now, so there are very few slower times with fewer passengers. So go any time you please!

Statistics and stuides will show there is no answer to that question. Crashes can occur at any time of year. One would think that the answer would be the fall since the the weather is the calmest and least likely to be severe. But there is no correlation between time of year and airline saftey.

I can tell you that that winter experiences by far the most delays and cancellations. Since snow and windy conditions occur most often in the winter. But still statistics prove there are no more crashes in the winter then any other time of year.
