sorbet-
Definition: [sor-BAY] The French word for "sherbet," which Italians call sorbetto. Sorbet is sometimes distinguished from sherbet by the fact that it never contains milk. It's also often a softer consistency than sherbet. Savory or lightly sweetened sorbets are customarily served either as a palate refresher between courses or as dessert. They're sometimes also referred to as ices or granitas, though both of these mixtures are generally more granular in texture than a sorbet. See also sherbet.

Sorbet (or sorbetto, sorbeto) is a frozen dessert made from iced fruit puree and other ingredientsSorbet is a form of gelato that contains no milk, unlike ice cream. Sorbets may contain alcohol, which lowers the freezing temperature, resulting in a softer texture. Whereas ice cream has air whipped into it, sorbet has almost none, which makes for a dense and extremely flavorful product.

it is like a homemade sherbert ice cream, u can mix water, honey and lemonade concentrate in a blender together then pour in a pan and put into freezer for 4 hours stirring it as it gets firm. its very good if u garnish it with blueberries and lemon slices. Its also not a bad snack for the children either and easy to make.
