Gods/Goddesses/Ghosts/Spirits are insubstantial beings not bound by physical laws. I don't believe there will ever be "evidence" for or against the existence of these things, since evidence is physical in nature.

There is no evidence in either case.

Does that make the probability of either case 50%?

Consider for a moment that I claim that you are being followed by an invisible pink elephant. The elephant makes no noise whatsoever, and can move through solid objects.

Is there any evidence that the elephant exists? No.

Is there any evidence that the elephant does not exist? No.

Do you consider the probability that the elephant exists 50% because of this, or do you think it is much more likely that the elephant does not exist (even though you cannot prove it)?

There's more evidence that there is no "God" (I assume you mean in a Christian sense) does NOT exist, as he's never just shown up and said "Here I am!". Faith isn't considered evidence, nor is "intelligent design" (this is the theory that things have been created too well and too perfect to be random, therefore someone (IE God) must've created everything). If you said Prove to me God exists, there's no way I could. Therefore, the lack of evidence points towards the latter of your statement.

Hmmm, let's see. There's the Bible, for one...there is absolutely no evidence that God doesn't exist, because there is nothing in this world we could say with absolute certainty that He didn't create. However, we don't need "evidence". We just need to believe. I can feel His presence when I am in church or when I think about Him, and that is all I need. Plus, there's really no reason not to believe in God; all He wants is for us to be good people. Is that really so hard?

Yes I believe that God created us and everything there is. He has been good to me. Sometimes, when things aren"t going well, some people believe because God didn't answer their prayer, that maybe He isn't a true being. But sometimes, the answer is just no, and most likely, it wasn't in your best interest anyway. Then, later on down the road, if you recognize your Blessing when something good happened, and you realize at the time, you asked for it, it turned out different from what you asked, or it took longer to happen, remember God is always right on time (His time Not ours), and He knew what you really needed, and how you needed it. For those of you that are unsure, I hope you find out He is real, and those of you who are devout Athiests, if you aren't right (and I don't believe you are), then you are Lost, and will lose everything, for those of us who believe, we will not have lost anything. He is in us, some choose not to let it touch them, some can't help but to let it touch them ( that's love and compassion for our fellow human beings), while others only care about themselves, or nothing at all. If I helped just one person with this message, I am happy, but I hope I have helped more. God is Love, spread it around.

Well, it really depends what type of a person you are. God helps us when we really need him - thats a fact that even I know. I prayed to him when I wanted to win a maths competition and be first in the whole of Australia - shockingly I won it! There is even proof for example, The chalice, Leonardo Da Vinci's paintings, the bible, Dan Browns stories, movies.... what more do u need. But still remember u will always start believing when god touches u... its u who mus believe!
