Absolutely. This is why you should buy property in Canada. I'm not kidding- it's what I'd do. There's no way in hell I'd let any family member of mine fight against his will.

I'm not lying about anything Mojowhatever. There is no way in hell I would ever allow any family member of mine to be drafted, period. And yes, I would go to any means necessary to see that they are protected- even if that means leaving the country. Although I'm not sure Canada is the best fit- too cold. I'm perhaps look to someplace warm.

Question: How does that make me ignorant and a liar? It makes me a good person for wanting to preserve the lives of my family members.

We're spoiled in this country. No country has been in a perpetual state of war as long as this country (1995 to the Present) without conscription.

Yes, an only son can be drafted.

No an only son can't be drafted. There isn't going to be a draft ever. We have enough brave volunteers. God bless them all!

Yes, but they are next to last on the list with prior service being last. We would have to be in a war of epic porportions with millions and millions of America dead before they would look at only sons so for all practical porposes chances are they won't be drafted.

Nobody can answer this question because Congress would have to pass a law containing the instructions on how to implement a draft first.

Since there is virtually no chance of a draft being passed - there is no way to answer your question.

i always herd they do go into the military, but they are given a job being a pencil pusher. they don't go to war. but if the child's father has sons with someone else and has his last name then yes he will go to war. there has to be some one to carry on the last name. if he has cousins with the same last name yes. good luck.
