The silly putty should roll out with careful working of the substance from the hair strand. The gum will come out with peanut butter, a solvent that dissolves gum.
Naughty sister! Give her a time out!

First separate all the undamaged hair, tie it up, so nothing else gets tangled in there.

Take care of the gum first... I got gum stuck in my hair in first grade and baby oil I think was the cure... if not I'm afraid to say it... scissors.

The silly putty should come out in a wash.

Good luck!

I would try ice cubes first...it's the least messy of the various solutions (like peanut butter or Vaseline). The ice cubes should harden the silly putty and gum enough so that you can carefully pick the hardened matter out of your hair. Good luck!

peanut butter, work it in well

get it cold, like with a cold spoon or something, gum will get hard and easily come out, not sure about silly putty, but it might work
