Umm... I'd say the Q'uran is a bit more poetic in spots but they all teach a wonderful path to altruism when people actually follow the lessons within each one. _()_

How can anyone answer a question like this.... the muslims know about Islam and the christians know about Christianity but neither wants to take the time to learn about the other.... Most of the christians probably don't even know that Jesus was mentioned by name in the Qur'an 93 times. It says right in the Qur'an that this is the same message sent to Moses and Jesus and the other prophets. It's all in how the reader interprets what they are reading.

No I do not think Islam and Christianity are the same or even similar. Christianity is about a person who is love, Jesus.
Islam is a religion with Allah as the Head and also a civil code.
In Christianity your ticket to Heaven is guaranteed through the Blood of Jesus and nothing else.
In Islam it is conditional on your own behaviour.

You are mistaken.

The Torah (Old Testament) and the Holy Bible are completely different than your Qu`ran.

Please refer to: Rev. 22:18-21 and see below:

Acts 20:29
I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock.

Galatians 4:17
Those false teachers are so eager to win your favor, but their intentions are not good. They are trying to shut you off from me so that you will pay attention only to them.

1 Timothy 4:1
[ Warnings against False Teachers ] Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

2 Peter 2:1
[ The Danger of False Teachers ] But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves.

2 Peter 2:12
These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed. They scoff at things they do not understand, and like animals, they will be destroyed.

Jude 1:3
[ The Danger of False Teachers ] Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people.

The Living God in the Holy Bible...is the God of Judaism and Christianity...only.

I'm Orthodox Christian and I do consider Quran a holy book, same thing with Torah. And yes there are different pts of view, but those pts of view make a big deal to us Christians. And, I bet it make a big deal to u 2 as Muslim. Plz don't get mad, everyone has their own beliefs.

No they are very different. Jesus NEVER commanded His followers to kill unbelievers, Mohammed did!

Jesus never married a 6-year old girl, Mohammed did- Aiysha.

Jesus never told Christians to KILL Christians who convert to another religion, Mohammed did command Muslims to kill those who convert out of Islam into another religion.

Jesus was perfect and never sinned. Muhammed was an ordinary man who sinned like all other men. Muhammed killed, lied, drank to drunkeness, and stole from his enemies.

One cannot find truth by following un-truth. Jesus is God, Muhammed is not.

No. The Jews and Muslims don't have to be born again they just have to be born. Everyone who is Christian is a convert it is not passed along blood lines but through spirit.

I fully agree.
One of my christian friends here wished Muslims Eid Mubrak and was reported to the yahoo police; was it you who did the reporting?
Since you...like me , think that Christianity and Islam are not much different; did you wish Christians here a Merry Christmas?

Except for the small matter of Jesus being God which will lead to the defeat of Islam.
