Brown a pound of burger, add a diced onion and a dice green pepper. Cook till onions soften. Then add a can of tomato sauce, a can of stewed tomatoes, a can of mushrooms, 3-5 tablespoons of worchester sauce a teaspoon of garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Allow to simmer while boiling up a bag of sea shell pasta. When pasta is cooked mix together and allow to sit for 15-30 minutes- reheat if necessary and serve with lots of parmesan cheese. Tastes even better the next day. Also good with a can of olives thrown in..

We veganized this from my mom's recipe.

1 bag (a pound-worth) of ground beef substitute (we use Morningstar Farms crumbles)
3 Tablepoons of vegan margerine (Earth Balance is the best)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 can of crushed tomatoes - large 3 1/2 cup size can
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
pepper to taste
1 1/4 cup of uncooked macaroni

brown green pepper and onion, add everything else, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes.

We use whole wheat macaroni, so it might take a little longer to cook. We also seem to add more salt than it calls for, but just do it to tast. Good luck, hope you like it. It's a good hearty meal in the winter. :)

**just noticed this isn't the veg forum... my bad. but what the hell, try it, you might like it. otherwise, follow it using real ground beef and margerine/butter.

In the event that it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
