I would prefer skim milk because orange juice often causes sore throats as I heard from the doctor.

Water is the best drink overall. Skim Milk is great for the extra protein, calcium, and Vitamin D. No worries about gaining unwanted weight with water or skim milk. Orange Juice is the least healthy of the three, simply because of its sugar content. If you are very active and you burn plenty of calories, the OJ may not be an issue for you.

That depends. If you have been eating right and have the vitamins and minerals you need for the moment, water should be fine. If you feel like a boost of energy and extra vitamin c, go for the juice. Actually, OJ with calcium is great because the citric acid helps your body absorb the calcium!
Of course, it does have calories, BUT...if you want something more flavorful than plain water, you can always drink something like "Fruit 2-0" flavored water.

Orange juice like many other fruit juices is high in sugar. It is not suitable for diabetics or people wanting to lose weight. Just think of the number of oranges you need to squeeze to get a glass of juice. You can get the vitamins and minerals you need from fresh fruit, you don't need to juice them. Skim milk is fine.

Water is always good when you're thirsty. For breakfast, real OJ...not the drink in bottles. Skim milk is good with meals but i wouldn't drink it for thirst.
