The first thing you should do is call your vet and ask for more information (what is wrong, what to do about the vomiting continuing and if she still isn't eating.) Your vet doesn't sound like they were very helpful - maybe you should try a new vet that will listen to your questions and answer them. If she is still sick tomorrow, you should call the vet or get her in somewhere else. Until then, food and water will make her more likely to vomit so if she has an upset stomach it is best not to feed her right now. Once the vomiting stops, try small amounts of water and then boiled chicken if she tolerates the water. Most dogs love chicken so she might be more interested in eating it but it is also easy on their stomachs and less likely to cause vomiting.

Usually at our vet surgery we suggest starving for 24 hours then a bland diet of boiled rice and chicken meat, however since ure dog is not eating this is nul and void. They probably gave u antiboitics that work on the gastro intestinal system and help settle the guts reaction to a foreign substance. Most gastro upsets in dogs are because they have eaten something odd eg rubbish, bug, lizzard etc and it just takes time to settle, as long as the dog is active and not lethargic and sad then continue antibiotics for 2 days and if no improvement in the voimiting then return to vet

Could she have eaten some fresh Salmon? Here in the northwest we have Salmon poisoning, could be that. Or, some other poison, she's empty now and only vomiting stomach fluids. Poor dog!!Keep close eyes on her, and the vet's number handy. If she starts looking better, you could try to feed her a little cottage cheese mixed with cooked white rice, but only a little at a time. As she gets a little better you could p[ut a tiny amount of raw hamburger meat in it, to get her to start eating, maybe that will flush thru whatever she has.

She must've eaten something that doesn't agree with her or that is poisonous. It's foamy because she probably threw up so much, she doesn't have anything left to throw up. Give her lots of water, and maybe let her outside in your yard if you have one, or take her for a very slow/calm walk in the park and she might find some grass to eat to make her feel better (dogs often do that) or get her some pet grass and see how that goes.

My 3 year old boxer has this problem every once in a while. Usually it happens when eats something not good for him. Like spiders. He loves to catch them and eat them and then we take a trip to the vet for antibiotics. He should be eating fine in a day or so. My boxer also has lots of grass to eat which helps out a lot. It seems to settle their stomach. Good luck.

Probably some type of respiratory infection , maybe a bronchial infection . Nothing much you can do except let it rest as much as it wants and give it easy access to the water and food , thats about it and it may take several days before it starts improving. Good luck hope the medicine does the trick.

I agree you need to call back you vet and ask them..... if they put your dog on antibiotics it was for a very good reason... it could be anything from distemper to belly gas, so you got to listen more intently when you see your vet and talk to them and ask lots of questions and get lots of answers.

well not exactly but you should try feeding him/her as much as you can without you know, OVERLOADING him/her because that white substance can be stomach acid like when you throw up and your stomach is empty a white and/or clear substance comes out. its usually because we need to eat something because that clear/white stuff is damaging to the enamel in our teeth. I would think it would be similar for dogs too.
