It all depends on what you are asking... best as far as ________. Lifestyle and treatment... Air Force hands down. Kicking *** and taking names... Marine Corps no doubt. Benefits afterwards and bonuses... Army. The Navy is better than the rest for something I am sure, but I have not found anyone to tell me what yet. Been in the Air Force for ten years and I would not trade services for anything. I like my lifestyle just fine.

Well it depends on why you are asking the question. If you think you might want to join, then you should probably think about what it is you want to get out of the experience.

The Army is great for technology, helicopters, etc. but chances are you are going to be in some serious action. Their facilities tend to be a little old (barracks from WWII) but they have a long proud line of tradition that of course dates back to the revolutionary war.

The Marines are hard core, no doubt about it. Their basic training is rigorous and last longer than the others. If you want to be a fit, fighting machine this is the place to be. They also have a long line of tradition and pride. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Of course they are in serious action as well.

The Air Force has bases all over the world, if you'd like to travel. Their facilities are great and they have numerous areas of interest where you can get great job skills/experience. You will see much of the world in the Navy as well.

These are just total generalities. Again, it really depends on what you are looking for and what your career goals.

Best? They are all good at what they do!

In my mind, wars have been fought almost exclusively by the US Army! Not by the Marines, not by the Navy and not by the Air force.

The most needed weapon in the Armed Forces is the Infantryman! Maybe that is why they have had the highest causality's since this country was formed!

All branches of the military have my utmost respect. I am a bit particular to the Army as my bf is a Staff Sargent.

personally, i think the air force is the best. it has less rigorous physical training and it's academic standards are higher than that of the other branches. for me, this is a plus because in a few short years i'm joining ^_^

Well it depends on what you're looking for out of it. If you're in it for the money and a more relaxed atmospher.....Army. If you want to push yourself to your limits and do a lot of hard stuff, and also deal with a lot of drama......Marines. If you don't want to do much but not get paid as well.....Navy. If you want to have a respectable career after the military.....Air Force. I'm a Marine wife, I know all about it if you have anymore questions.
