You can only quote if you are reviewing something. If you are quoting music lyrics within a fictional book you are profiting from their music since it is integral to the story. You will then need permission and an indication of the copyright in the book. This web site has more detailed information.

They will be able to sue you for copyright infringement.

Just ask for permission. Most songwriters are very reasonable about granting it to authors.
