I get to go see the guy I have met through my friend in the navy. We both like each other soo much that we are soo excited to get to see each other. Now, we aren't dating right now, but we are almost in ways.
He sends me all kinda of cute presents and stuff and last night we were talking about marriage. I was saying how I wouldn't get married yet unless some guy shows up at my front door with a trans am... lol... The he says "So, I have to buy you a trans am in order for you to marry me!".... I was like what?... Why would he say that?
So, im going to met him in the summer. I just hope that what we have right now won't change when we met? Will it?

For one, I was just clearly shocked he would say what he said about the marriage thing... I'm in no way shape or form ready for that yet. No im not a stuck up bytch... I will buy my own trans am. I was just making a joke to him.

Ok I'm a bit confused... you haven't met him yet?
He clearly likes you, guys sometimes joke about marriage... that's natural.
If you haven't met yet, things will be different than an online relationship (is that what it is?), but you sorta know each other, it could work... I dated a guy for 2 yrs who I only knew online (he was a friend's friend and i talked to him online for a couple months before we met)... so ya never know.

You sound really young. The best advice I can give you is to enjoy this relationship- get to know the guy- take things slow- don't get pregnant- Continue to work on other areas of your life like work and school.

well things can b different in real but im sure it should b ok if u both really like each other! me n my current bf met online n chated 4 months b4 we met we knew we liked each other so thats y we met n we still like or shall i say love each other! gd luck hope it goes well!

realistically? have fun with it but settle down. you're basically getting all worked up about your future with a stranger. you need to meet, see how he treats people(i.e.family, friends, dogs). i know you feel like you know this guy but you dont. youre scratching the surface... a vague surface. hes miles away and can portray himself as anything he wants to be. you need to see the person he is with your own eyes.

sometimes guys joke around with stuff like that, but who knows? even if he was joking, im pretty sure things will last awhile with you two. just take it slow but still let him know you really like him.
