"Satan made evil choices like you."

So you're comparing someone who asks an honest question about God.. to Satan?

Yes, God IS a great guitarist. If he exists.

Supposedly Lucifer was the GREATEST angel, God made him with free will. Lucifer got greedy and wanted to overthrow God.

"He chose evil, blah blah blah."

What a load of crap. Yeah, he did, but GOD IS STILL RESPONSIBLE.

If you KNEW that something you created would turn evil (like God knew he would, he's all-knowing)... who caused all sorts of suffering and pain, would you? It was completely unecessary.

God is at fault, he should take the blame. Deal with it, Christians.

"God created Eric Clapton, so God is a great guitarist, right?"

God is omnipotent, so he can do anything. He obviously must be a great guitarist.

On a more seroius note, I have had questions like this also. I am young and am still learning about religion, so excuse my ignorance on the subject.

God created satan, so god must have given the angels the capacity to do evil, and since everything came from god, evil must have as well. Also, if god is omnisicient and not bound by time, when he created satan, he did so with full knowledge that he would turn against him, create hell, and tempt humankind into evil. People may say that you can't have good without evil, but God is omnipotent, so he could have created free will without capacity to do evil, even though it makes no sense to us. He could have made us understand it. Now, I want you to keep in mind that I am NOT trying to say there is no possibility in a God whatsoever, I just have a lot of questions that I want explained. I would like to believe in it.

Dear eye,

We read in the Bible that when God created everything, it was very good. This included man. However, man rebelled against God just as some of the angels did (satan included). Today, you see how that rebellion has affected humanity as you see women aborteing their babies, children killing their parents, parents abusing their kids, not to mention wars, racism, prejudice, etc. Satan was a good angel (Lucifer) before he rebelled against God.
God is not the author of sin or rebellion or evil.

If a factor purely has the choice to do reliable, that factor won't be that complicated. It does not have lots intensity. Having the skill for the two reliable and evil establishes the reality that people are completely complicated, distinctive and diverse, yet interwoven in each and every way. besides, unfastened will comes into play besides. purely real love, excitement, compassion, and need may be complete by skill of unfastened will. Robots won't be able to love, because of the fact they lack the intensity and unfastened will to accomplish that. God did no longer would desire to do something, yet He chosen to create devil. You overlook that God isn't certain by skill of rules, policies, or standards. devil had a decision, and he chosen evil. it quite is very very like my asserting: nicely, a suited God created each and every person and those human beings do undesirable issues. This would desire to be God's mistake. faraway from it...human beings desire be taught to take accountability for their very own strikes. You do some thing incorrect; you admit and stop searching for a scapegoat. EDIT: @ Miguel. Assuming that I stick to God blindly reflects your lack of understanding. Please save it to your self.

The christians will shoot you with crap like "We chose evil, Evil is absence of good, God didn't create evil satan did", yadayadayada but it all comes down to the same thing: God is sadistic and/or lazy.

Your question is flawed.

God created Lucifer, a beautiful archangel (singing, worship, music...etc.)

When Lucifer decided to allow (yes, he had free will) pride in his heart...he was evicted from Heaven.
