Someone told me that "Excuse me" is perimiso or something...is that right?

Excuse me is "perdoname" or just "perdon" and sorry is "lo siento."

In Mexico, where I lived for a while, they mostly used "con permiso" to say excuse me. They rarely used sorry and generally laughed at me when I said it and said it wasn't a Mexican thing to say...lol. I am sure it varies from country to country and region to region though, as many things about the language tend to fluctuate depending on region.

"con permiso" means "with permission" which is used like excuse me.

Sorry is "lo siento"

"I'm Sorry" is "Lo Siento".
