I suppose if you associate a particular food with color you can bring the memory of the flavor to your taste buds.
If you associate purple with grapes then your mind will give you the flavor of a grape.

No you can not. You can not taste colors, but your eyes reaction to different colors can affect the taste of the food you are eating. Did you know that Vinilla is not actually a taste, but a smell! Its kinda like that!
