His birthday is tomorrow and I was going to get him a 50 dollar gift card for I tunes, becuase I bought him an IPOD for Christmas. Will he like that, do you think? Im also going to make him breakfast and his favorite dinner. I wish I could do more but I just can't right now.

PERfect. Coming from a guy, I would find the breakfast/dinner very thoughtful, romantic and know that you really really cared for me.

Bottom line: YOU SOUND LIKE THE BEST! That's what I would say if you did this for me.

I personally own an ipod and I love it. In fact if it were me I would consider that to be a good enough gift for me, being so close to christmas and all. Go for the gift card I think thats a great idea. Its not about the money.

If he's your fiancee, he should be thinking about your joint finances and not what material goods you can give him. He knows you cannot afford much. So, furthering the I-Pod gift is totally acceptable but I would focus more on giving him an experience rather than a fleeting possession.
When I look back on my relationships, the girls I remember were the ones who did something special for me not the ones who could buy an item of interest.

not a guy here but have brothers and I can tell you that it's not always about money. Guys like a lot of attention. Wake him up by turning him on. Be nude. Start playing with him while he's still sleeping. Kiss him. Trust me, he will love it. Make love to him, but be the dominate one. Get on top and be forceful. Make him feel he is totally turning you on. Make him feel like a king. After then make him breakfast. Do it in the nude too. Trust me, guys like this stuff. Make that day be all about him and what you can do for him and to him.

Your fiance should like it. You dont have to splash out on him every occasion. You need to know that Love doesnt require expensive gestures but just...Love. A nice dinner and an "I love you" is the perfect gift!

that would be really nice. the dinner and breakfast is a good idea too. (if your a decent cook) the best thing to do would be to cuddle up with him in front of the fire on a cold night and talk and play with him. in addition to the other stuff. make sure you tell him how happy you are to be with him.

you should make a home made birthday card from line paper and with him a happy birthday and tell him how much you love him. and you can give him an i .o.u that means you can do three nice things for him, that don,t cost any money like giving him a back massage or some thing like that.

Money doesnt count. Buy yourself some sexy lingrieand out it on right before he comes home from work. Sprinkle rose petals on the way to your bedroom. He will find you on the bed waiting for him.

You can have dessert before dinner.

That sounds good, plus I'm sure he'd understand the financial thing since you're both recovering.
