If I lived in a poor country I probably wouldn't be aware that there are other countries more wealthy and advanced as I would not have access to media.

However, if I was aware, then I guess so as I would want to live in a western country.

Africa is not a country. It is a continent, and there are many, many countries in Africa.

I see no reason why a person should feel bad about their country. It is their country. This does not mean they may want to go elsewhere to live for more prosperity.

Africa isn't a country, and no, no one should feel bad that they were born into poverty. It's the wealthy that should feel bad if they don't help the poor.

No. I'd strive to make it wealthy and advanced.

Some countries are successful, others aren't. Just like people. Thats the way things work. Maybe thats cold to say but its still the truth.

How would I know? Unless someone comes along and makes the comparison... and even then I wouldn't really have any concept of "better", would I? So... I suppose I wouldn't feel too bad considering I have no real basis for comparison besides being TOLD it's "better elsewhere".
