My 10 month old Chihuahua is acting all vicious and agressive with everyone, I can't take him out for a walk because he starts to calls everyone's attention by barking and acting up... I'm getting worried and frustrated already because of his behavior... I have another 4 month old chihuahua but she is totally different, she behaves and is not the same way as he is... thanks

PLAN A

Every time this starts grab his muzzle as if your hand was a muzzle over it. Tell him "no". If you can't do it gently cuff your hand around his neck so he can't bite as well.

PLAN B

Take your pointer finger and middle finger and lightly in the heart area suddenly tap there while making the 'Ttsssss' sound.

PLAN C

Every time he barks or growls snap your fingers then turn it in to a pointing posion while making a 'shhhhhh' noise and giving a stern look.

Has he been neutered yet? That will help. Chihuahuas need a LOT of socialization at a young age, you are a bit behind the curve with him. Chihuahuas are very protective by nature, plus he is entering the dreaded "teenager" stage. You need to go to training classes with him to teach him who is in charge. Many Humane Society Animal Shelters also offer training classes. If yours does not, they should still be able to refer you to a good trainer. I know that they can be pricey, but you want your Chi to be a happy and social dog.

Good luck.

Might be fear. I would get him in an obedience class and not tolerate the barking and lunging at things. Immediately say "stop" or "that will do" or whatever word you want to train to and make him sit and don't move on until he's under control. Also get as many people who are not at all afraid of dogs to handle him as possible.

Ummm, let me guess, your little man is not fixed, is he?

I am thinking that he is going through puberty right now, it is just acting like a teenager! Please get him fixed, and he will get back to normal.
